After week off due to travel and phlegm, Jed Rigney and Jon Sumple return with Episode 26 of Foul Territory: A Baseball Podcast. Show opens with Jed’s hysterical laughter about … well, just listen, and a rant about the never-ending College World Series schedule.

We kick off Headlines with Albert Pujols’ 600th home run and why it would have been sexier 10 years ago, Mike Schmidt playing the “Was that Racist?” game discussing Odubel Herrera’s cornerstone status, Pedro talking up a Big Papi return, Bryce Harper’s ancient bad blood with Hunter Strickland, Mike Trout’s injury and first trip to the DL (and who in the Angels’ front office is ready to pull the trigger on the biggest trade in MLB history), Edinson Volquez’ gimpy no-hitter, Jacoby Ellsbury’s headaches, Bartolo Colon’s Prometheus moment, the silly idea of a Home Run Derby in London with MLB “stars,” and – to cap off the longest and most Faulkner-esque sentence in Foul Territory history – the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal’s efforts to ban the Cleveland Indians from using their logo or the word “Indians” on their uniforms when playing in Toronto.

This week’s Starting Nine is an homage to the College World Series with players who have College-sounding names. It’s a keeper. Are You Buying It? features all-in discussions on Zack Cozart, Miguel Sano and Michael Fulmer, and a lease agreement on Robbie Ray when he’s not in AZ, and no-gos on Jordy Mercer and Gerrit Cole. Show wraps with Extra Innings and a look at the NBA finals (blowout city), Jerry Lewis being hospitalized with an infection and Wonder Woman opening to an historic (maybe, if you doubt Jed’s logic) box office record.
